Integration with outlook

My work emails all go through outlook. I generate a lot of my tasks through email. I would rather use toodledo to manage tasks than outlook tasks.
There is a cognitive dissonance if I try and use both together and i end up only checking one or the other.
Things move too fast for me to "forward" all my emails to toodledo (i tend to get in the region of 200 actionable emails a day).
Can toodledo "sync" with outlook tasks?
Can toodledo use IFTTT to sync certain contexts to outlook tasks and vice versa? That way when i review my @outlook list on toodledo, i'd know it was a complete list of things i need to do whilst in outlook.

No outlook integration is eventually going to make me stop using Toodledo, and I think it has been 15 years I have been using it at least.

Is there any progress on this? I don't want to leave but need integration to justify paying out of my pocket for this tool.

Outlook Sync

I use an old chromatic dragoon sync program to sync with Outlook. Have been doing it for years. The issue now is when that is running it freezes Outlook up. I have to use outlook for work where my tasks mainly come from. A more effective, within Toodledo way to do that synce would save me a lot of wait time.
That said, I could not do my job without Toodledo. It runs my life, and is critical. I really appreciate your product and have for at least ten or more years.

syncing with outlook tasks would be amazing. the tasks have a similar dataset, I think.

Yes, I don't know why but abruptly Task do not show anymore in Outlook Calendar (but still in Google). Could you please solve this out ?

Now that with the latest Outlook update has made Chromatic Dragon no longer work I have had to start thinking about stopping to us Toodledo. Too much of my work is in Outlook and I am having to manually create tasks. I don't want to stop, but there has to be a better way for this to work. I can assign the outlook task to Toodledo which sends it, but just brings the task over with none of the other attributes. It is better than creating it all, but this would be so useful.

Some of the integrations mentioned here can be achieved using https://zapier.com/ but they tend to be copies. I like the idea of an Outlook integration that allows the email to be opened in Toodledo but perhaps also deleting/categorising the email in outlook when the Toodledo task is completed.

I agree. And also please consider syncing flagged email = tasks in outlook tasks. I have started to user other solutions for task management that directly syncs with Outlook so if I flag an email it is added as Outlook task end then synced to my android phone and visible together with normal Outlook tasks. Sync is using activeSync and is instant and it includes syncing categories in Outlook - which is important to me.
I would love to get same sync in Toodledo and with the possibility to use the extra fields etc in toodledo also.. Note that by using Outlook tasks I automatically get everything in my calendar/calendar app (calendar events, flagged email= tasks, normal tasks) this is very useful - and it means that I can use calendar app of my choice as several apps can see the synced tasks in Android.
If Toodledo could sync like this and maybe add a link to toodledo task in the outlook task then one could use the sync mechanisms already functioning and also use toodledo for handling the task with more fileds etc. And if I just need totick off a task I can do that from Toodledo or outlook phoneapp - since toodledo task is synced with outlook task.

Good sync with Outlook could fill the subtask void Microsoft chooses to leave in their product line. If toodledo could handle rich text (message body), it would be hard to beat.
